I might as well start shopping at Whole Foods

A couple Christmas seasons ago, my friend Robyn, gave me a gift card to Wild Oats for 50 cents. Yep, 50 cents. You might think that it's tacky to give someone a gift card for 50 cents but Robyn knew that the look on my face when I opened my Wild Oats gift card would be priceless...and it was. I think I was even speechless and I know that my face was saying... "oh no, this is awkward, she gave me a Wild Oats gift card, and I'm going to have to pretend like I like it." Everyone allowed the awkwardness for just a moment and then the laughter ensued. Hahaha. LOL. I was just relieved that it wasn't my real gift.

Anyhoo, if you were to find me in a grocery store, you would most likely find me in a Super Target. My cart would be laden with drinks filled with aspartame and snack cakes laced with an assortment of trans-fats. That is until the government stepped in and took away all of my partially hydrogenated fun. But I'm here to say...

I'm changing my ways. At least for this week. Meet my new love...

Brother's All Natural Apple Crisps

My co-worker, Sumer, purchased these for all the tiny tots to have for their VBS snack. And let me just say that I might have just gotten into them a couple or ten times. And let me say this...their delicious and I don't even like apples. And Sumer would pipe in and say that their just apples, nothing else, nothing added, just apples. Well, how about them apples. You can buy them at Costco but I just ordered a case online...yes, I think their that good. I ordered the strawberry banana ones, too. I know, I'm out of control. Look what else I was caught doing at VBS...

Yes, I'm a baby wearer now, too.

(Please know that I didn't drip a drop of Diet Coke on that baby like some thought I would.)

It's a slippery slope, and I'm just a few steps away from an all natural organic lifestyle. Someone stop me before it's too late.
